Our Clients

Bespoke software solutions for discerning clients

As you might expect, with almost 30 years of successful trading, Triangle has many clients ranging from small, privately owned businesses, up to large national and international companies and public organisations. We are proud and delighted to say that a good number of these companies have been with us for many years, some for decades!

We have included a small selection below, representing a broad range of software across several differing organisations.

Tarmac logo

Tarmac

We have worked with Tarmac since 2001 and have over the years developed several software systems for them, many of which are still in use today. These include procurement analysis, quarry quality control and an occupational health and environmental monitoring system.

Ministry of Defence logo

Ministry of Defence

We were commissioned by the Defence Storage and Distribution Agency in 1996 to develop a procurement, stock control and amendment management system for the control of all MoD documentation. This system was re-written in 2005, and has been in continual use since then. Read more about this software here - stock control and business reporting case study.

WJ South logo

WJ are the UK's leading independent Road Marking specialist, responsible for lining roads all over the country for Highways England, Local Authorities and private companies.

Triangle started work with WJ South in 2014 to design and implement a system which controlled rates, customers and contracts from quote through to invoice.  This project also included a mobile job application within which their Mobile Workforce input their Daily Record Sheet, eliminating the use of paper and enforcing mandatory health and safety procedures whilst working on the road.

CHEP logo

CHEP

CHEP is a leading provider of pallet and container pooling services for the aerospace, automotive, chemical, consumer goods, fresh food and manufacturing industries.

Founded in Australia in 1945, CHEP has more than 7,000 employees serving 500,000 customers touch points from offices in over 50 countries. They offer environmentally friendly logistic solutions to customers to help their protect their products as they move through the supply chain.

Triangle started working with CHEP back in 2009. Their business required a bespoke software solution to track hundreds of thousands of pallets, crates and containers over an international network of depots and customers.

Using Triangle’s extensive software development expertise and experience, CHEP commissioned a custom stock control and warehouse software.

TMS logo

TMS

Traffic Management Services (TMS) based in Kent wanted to streamline their internal processes and also eliminate the use of paper amongst their operatives on the road.  Being in the often dangerous working conditions, the operatives must adhere to a strict set of health and safety regulations which must be monitored and reported on by Managers and Supervisors.  They approached Triangle to implement a bespoke Mobile Solution which allows Management a complete overview of Jobs on the road at any time.  The mobile app has been designed for ease of use while also enforcing specific workflows to allow Operatives to complete compulsory tasks required of them and actually carrying out the job at hand.

The system has been successfully in use since 2017 and continues to allow TMS to keep control of Jobs and provides business reporting that they use on a daily basis.

Diamond Electronics logo

Diamond Electronics

Diamond Electronics have been using the KBS (Kingston Business System) for over 15 years in it's multiple iterations.  They use the system to control their business processes, managing all processes from Costing, Quotes, Orders, Purchasing, Warehousing and Stock Control through to Invoicing and all Accounts functions.

Key to the success of the software project is Diamond's ongoing commitment to the continuous development program to further improve efficiency through the use of the software to eliminate manual effort and any potential human error.

Keele University logo

Keele University

Founded in 1949, this campus university near Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire, was the first new British university in the 20th century.

With over 9,800 students, and 5 halls of residence, the university occupies a 620 acre (250 ha) rural campus close to the village of Keele and has a science park and a conference centre, making it the largest main campus university in the UK.

Understanding their vision to become the “ultimate 21st-century camps university”, Triangle first developed a bespoke access control system for their Estates Management division back in 2001.

We have since written lots of different types of bespoke software for Keele, from purchase and invoicing software to energy management.

Having worked closely with their IT and Estate and Facilities Management Teams for the past 10 years, we now feel extremely privileged to be allowed to sit and advise at their IT strategy meetings - keeping them up to date on the latest technological advances and software industry developments to help them reach their vision.
