UK Landscapes needed a reliable way to assign jobs to crews during Winter conditions, ensuring they hit their SLA’s. Critical operational data was coming from multiple external sources, but there was no streamlined way to receive, interpret, and act on that information in real time.
Data is received from the Met Office and a large UK retailer ahead of time so that crews can be ready to be deployed to their sites in the case of bad weather throughout the Winter season.
The business required a system that could:
- Ingest data from external sources
- Read and understand that data automatically
- Trigger action when specific thresholds were breached
- Create and distribute gritting and ploughing jobs to the most suitable crews

Once created, jobs are sent directly into Formulate, where crews can:
